WINOOSKI, Vt. (WCAX) – A Burlington-area itinerant with a long rap sheet faces new charges after police say he attacked officers outside a Winooski business.
It happened just after 6 p.m. Wednesday. Winooski Police say Michael Reynolds, 46, was intoxicated and refused to leave the unnamed business, threatening to kill staff and attempting to damage the door. They say while taking him into custody, Reynolds head-butted and spit on officers as well as shouting racial vulgarities and threatening to shoot them.
Burlington Police have previously said Reynolds has more than 1,600 engagements with police dating back to 2012.
