SHELDON, Vt. (WCAX) – Police say two Vermont men face charges of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment for allegedly shooting at a passing vehicle.

Vermont State Police say Tyler Andersen, 34, and Gianni Ramon, 31, who are neighbors on Kittell Road in Sheldon, fired multiple shots at a car as it drove by their homes on Monday.

The two men inside the vehicle were not injured, but troopers say the car had multiple bullet holes and bullet fragments inside it.

Wednesday, police searched the homes of Andersen and Ramon to collect evidence in the shooting. Both men were taken into custody and held on bail– $10,000 for Ramon and $7,500 for Andersen. They’re due in court on Thursday.

Police say the investigation into the shooting is still underway, along with a possible additional incident of harassment back in February.
