WINOOSKI, Vt. (WCAX) – Winooski residents Tuesday approved a $4.6 million bond to improve the Burlington-Winooski Bridge.
The vote passed 81% to 19%.
The bond will be used to re-vamp the bridge connecting Burlington and Winooski including nearby environmental remediation and bike path and pedestrian improvements.
