FALL RIVER, Mass. (WCAX) – A Connecticut man Monday met with two police officers he credits with helping save his life last month after collapsing at Okemo.
Fall River, Massachusetts, police officers Guy Furtado and Garrett Nelson were taking a day off to go skiing on January 28 when they encountered Nathan Polzun, who was having a medical emergency. After hearing the cries for help from Polzun’s father, the officers sprang into action, performing CPR on the 20-year-old and calling for help.
Polzun, who is now on the road to recovery, reunited with the officers in Massachusetts Monday to thank them and says hopes to reunite on the slopes in the future.
