MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – A Vermont man will be in court after police say he sold drugs that killed a man.
19-year-old Tyler Matthews of Montpelier died by overdose last year. After his death, the Montpelier Police Department carried out a months-long investigation to find who supplied the drugs.
They arrested 22-year-old Benjamin Wiater of Calais, Vermont on charges of dispensing a regulated drug with death resulting. He will be in court on Friday.
