EAST FAIRFIELD, Vt. (WCAX) – Police say they have identified a man they were looking for in connection with a series of suspicious events in Franklin County. And they now say those events are no longer considered suspicious.
Vermont state police said earlier they were looking for a man who showed up at multiple homes in East Fairfield and Bakersfield Wednesday, saying he worked for a utility and needed to check their meters.
Thursday afternoon, they said they had identified that man and they no longer consider the incidents to be suspicious.
